As employee disengagement levels are on the rise in the U.S. over the last couple of years, business leaders are seeking to understand the reasons behind this disengagement. According to Professor Teresa Amabile of the Harvard Business School, job dissatisfaction seems to be a major reason for this disengagement across industries and across generations. However, increasing engagement requires an employer to consider the differences that exist between generations.
